The date just doesn't stand out if that makes sense lol. I'm still surprised it didn't do better since so many people were hyped for the genre shift. But I wouldn’t call it a parody. It has a good message and fun action. A change in genre was a risk, but I bought into the change. It’s still pretty cvnty!
