steven 5,884 Posted yesterday at 04:04 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:04 AM Am I the only one who thinks this tour meant so much to her? The visuals, the resurrection, the feeling that Gaga came back. I truly feel that CBT helped her channel all the chaos and turn it into MAYHEM, in the best way. It was her proving she was still the star. The visuals. The stage design. The energy. It all felt extremely intentional. This is what made it feel so good to me especially. With the ArtRave and JWT there wasn't much hinting at another era. With The Fame Ball, The Monster Ball (2.0 specifically), and the BTWB they all had elements of the following eras. The Chromatica Ball really was a hint at MAYHEM, even if 2022 was early for its development. EDIT: And no shade to either the ArtRave nor the JWT! But still, the continuity felt nice. The mix of recent and long-term hits was great.
Lil1th 511 Posted yesterday at 04:43 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:43 AM Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is very underrated, most on this site could definitely use it. But seriously, I agree. It felt so separate from Chromatica the album. Now with MAYHEM out, i realize why. it kind of makes sense considering the tour happened so late. Future Lovers 6,851 Posted yesterday at 05:24 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:24 AM It's not a bad show, but I do think it has a few critical mistakes that held it back from being what it could've been. And what's frustrating about it is the mistakes were very avoidable. It seems pretty evident the tour we got is not the one that she originally planned, and it has a sort of rushed feel to it that a lot of her other shows don't. It has some high highs, but is held back by some aesthetic and artistic choices.
candydarling 1,722 Posted yesterday at 05:47 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:47 AM (edited) that long ass piano section and boring first 15 first minutes where she's just standing there to three of her biggest hits only to stay stuck to a concrete wall for another whole song? (i get what she's trying to say, but still...) and then to finish with two of her worst songs stupid love and hold my hand. nah keep it. the stage is interesting. i like most of the rest tho i love replay and the last interlude that is very much like the first interlude of the mayhem ball Edited yesterday at 05:48 AM by candydarling 1 1
Sugar Baby 837 Posted yesterday at 05:54 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:54 AM This is my least favorite tour if I Am being honest and It doesnt feel “Chromatica “ at all The show we were supposed to have in 2020 was completely different than what we got

Auralegends 6,356 Posted yesterday at 07:06 AM Share Posted yesterday at 07:06 AM The tour was basic. JWT with the bridges and screen stage was impressive, while here we had a concrete building that blocked the view for people on the side 3
Doroteyo 439 Posted yesterday at 09:18 AM Share Posted yesterday at 09:18 AM in london the energy was lacking for me. the sound was off -- it was quiet and lacking depth and colour -- the choreos were terrible, the poetic division of it into acts felt trite, the opening numbers were very slow, and the setlist was weak, too. She looked bomb in her outfits and wig but that's it. Somehow they managed to make it work on film but the live version didn't do it for me. Can't wait for the Mayhem ball, though. And so relieved it won't be a stadium. It just didn't work.
