Just the thought of accidentally creating another human kinda freaks me out so I'm very glad I'll never poke anyone that doesn't have the same equipment as me  

We have delicate lil dudes down there but it's actually wayyyy safer than what women have to do. But of course the idea of mixing needles and nut sacks would freak us out

my arm implant is ok but every time I’ve been to get it changed they refer me to a “deep implant clinic” to get my arm cut up so that’s fun  still prefer it to an IUD

Eh, I've had needles inserted into my nether regions at various times and been fine – once, to drain a vulvar cyst, another time to numb the area to remove a cervical polyp. They gave me lidocaine first (also via needle), and I was fine. 

What apparently really hurts is when they have to biopsy the cervix, which they often do without any sort of sedation. And don't get me started on IUD insertion, as @SharkmanthaC brought up already, which is flat-out barbaric. Not to mention the various side effects of hormonal birth control and even non-hormonal IUDs (which can move around and create trouble), or how invasive it is to have a tubal ligation or one's tubes removed. 

My friend had to have her cervix biopsied because she had signs of pre-cancerous cells, and they didn't want to give her anything for it. Meanwhile, when her husband had a vasectomy, they gave him the good drugs so he didn't feel anything and prescription pain relievers for when he got home. 

The comments on this thread just prove to me that if cisgender men were the ones who got pregnant and bore children, we'd have made leaps in bounds in terms of birth control, because this method is easy peasy compared to what many cisgender women have to go through. Good thing most of y'all are gay.

Well as of right now it's our choice, but yeah I don't know what will happen when it becomes law about it. I think we will make the decision of what to do with them (likely donate to science) if that comes soon.

Oh yeah I've forgot about the many times I've had needles in my lady bits for various reasons. Including being awake for my entire egg retrieval which is a needle poking through your cervix over and over and extracting eggs from your ovaries. And also the uterine biopsies that I haven't had medications for. Here is part of the tool they use for IUDs. Here you go friends. Make sure you see that thing they grab your cervix with in the beginning.
