Pure Heroine and Melodrama aren’t coming back. This is a more mature version of Lorde. Incredibly introspective and raw. I nearly had an out of body experience listening to the outro of the album. I’m not going to say I love it because I just listened to it from start to finish and don’t remember what each song sounds like but it has it’s moments here and there. It doesn’t really have any songs that I’d call “radio or single friendly”, it just sounds like she wanted to record MUSIC without thinking about charts or the radio or “this could be a hit”.
