She’s just not that kind of artist. She’s never been particular good live tbh. Even the recent increase in production of her shows have felt like a distraction to her performances. I saw her on the very first stop of her Paradise Tour back in 2013, my expectations were pretty low as she already had a bad live reputation back then, and I found the show to be pretty great. Then I never had a chance to see her again as she cancelled the date I've attempted to attend

But we'll always have Paris, I guess. Still thankful for the Lana we had from ca. 2008 to 2019. That one will always be an inspiration to me, and she would have wiped the floor with the Lana we ended up with. lol So yeah, whatever... Siena 6,235
As an OG Lana Stan we know she isn’t really a performance artist, and when I see her live I expect her to be messy lol I am getting tired of the same setlist though Edited June 25 by Siena

Batwings 12,875
I would absolutely never pay money to see Lana at a stadium or arena. I saw her at a small venue in New Orleans back in 2014. Yeah, the show was kind of low energy, and she only performed for an hour, but at least there was that intimate feeling because of the venue. Honestly, I was a huge Lana stan for years and years, but lately, she's bored the hell out of me. Everything she's released since NFR! has sounded the same. The fan meltdown because of her show doesn't surprise me. Edited June 25 by Batwings
BloodyM 1,256
I don't really like it when we say we know she's not a performer, she actually did some great show, I think it depends on how she's feeling. I think the main issues seem to be the core songs on the setlist. They've not changed for years, and there are a few artists who do this. Removing Cherry and A&W from the setlist was a sin. The new songs aren't really hitting, especially the 57 million one. I've seen Lana before, and she was amazing. No one expects her to do choreography or anything crazy, but the setlist needs a revamp and some love for each album! Something like (not in this order): Born to Die, Video Games, Blue Jeans, Ultraviolence, West Coast, Ride, Honeymoon, High By The Beach, Cherry, Tomorrow Never Came, Cinnamon Girl, The Greatest, Chemtrails, White Dress, Arcadia, Living Legend , A&W, Did you know that...., Henry Come On, Bluebird, Say Yes To Heaven Edited June 25 by BloodyM
StrawberryBlond 14,780
I just saw her in Glasgow last night and she was perfect. It was the same setlist as here, minus Salvatore of course and the crowd seemed to be loving it. Her vocals are gorgeous, the best she's ever done. But then, she's always sang well when I've seen her. Yes, she did a hologram performance but it was beautifully done and other artists have done it. It allows her voice to rest too. The set was stunning and while she's never been someone who communicates much with the audience, it means she gets through lots of songs back-to-back. I wish her setlists weren't so random but it's my first time seeing her live in years, I'm just happy to hear her again. I think it's clear judging by these comments that most of you have never actually seen her live because us fans have a very different experience to you. This is the third time I've seen her live now, first time was back in 2014 and even back then she was great. Yes, she's not a dancer or overflowing with charisma on stage but she has a radiant smile which looked amazing on those big screens and the crowd were having a great time for such a supposed lack of showmanship. We appreciate that Lana's more for sitting back and chilling out to, so you don't need all that additional stuff. Lana always sings her best when she's performing for just her fans, as opposed to general entry festivals and it's a shame people still judge her for her early inexperience and lack of confidence.
