SimonBaetens 8,375
I havenât seen a single trailer for this on tv or online when you're lonely, I'll be lonely too / https://www.last.fm/user/SimonBaetens
SevenWonder 4,299
I'll take my nephew in a couple of weeks. It looks fantastic. Sucks it bombed ala Joker. Silver lining: Maybe Pixar's Mayhem is coming?
RudraCNG 14,868
I mean I didn't even know this film existed. Probably Disney didn't do like 10% of the promo they do for their sequels/remakes.
nATAH 48,055
i've never heard of this mother, what must i do?
StarstruckIllusion 52,397
But I thought it was bc they were woke, and a movie starring a white male kid would serve. Would Conservatives lie?
OliviaRodrigoStan 6,557
Never heard about this film at all đ. HEART OF EVER-FROST
princedeeblebleble 1,468
if it weren't for this thread, I wouldn't know of it's existence.. didn't see any ig stuff, or at the cinemas or around town posters.. so no wonder.  Edited June 23 by princedeeblebleble
AndiGaga 6,658
Did it really bomb? Still quite high numbers I think?
Emvee 8,307
Disney sabotaged this film. First they kept postponing it and then they didnât have enough faith in it to give it proper promo. 1
Karl 3,384
It's had really good reviews as well, such a shame. People just don't go to the cinema anymore for original stuff, they want familiarity and know what they are getting when they spend the money, hence all the existing IP crap we get, smaller films are better going to streaming imo
ModernEcstasy 8,953
I think this comes down to 2 factors. Ticket prices are way too high now. Unless itâs a movie people really want to see, theyâll wait for this to release on Disney plus in a couple months. I also believe itâs down to lack of imagination/ fun. Pixar movies used to be about Monsters, talking fish and Toys which come alive. Movies about humans (Iâm assuming Elio is that) just arenât as interesting
vanna shintuyu 10,605
5 hours ago, Lord Mayhem said: The ad I saw on TV was boasting it's "an instant PIXAR classic"... Is it the one where they were quoting reviewers?
Starmie25 17,984
First THE DAY THE EARTH BLEW UP and now Elio??? Agh my poor animation gems.
Defmix100 6,339
I don't think I've seen an animated movie from the past 10 years but I've seen ads for this one a lot and thought it looks like a really good one, but I'd never go to the cinema for an animated movie
