Its okay for an artist to be a bit distant, guarded, and overwhelmed, but this is not whats happening. Shes intentionally ignoring them and acting like they dont even exist.

Yeah, this is rough. The fans are getting like 15 sec to get their merch signed and take a quick photo. I get that it’s repetitive for the artist and they probably hate doing it, but maybe save the chit chatting for the after party. If you’re gonna do a signing, giving a bit of effort and attention would be the bare minimum. Or just don’t do it at all and just go grab a drink and do your chatting.

I like to think Miley is nicer than this. And I don’t know all the circumstances, but still. That stings a bit to see.

Miley is generally pretty great towards her fans. People taking less than a handful of moments where’s she’s obviously distracted and trying to paint the whole experience out to be like this is clearly being done in bad faith. The entire event was free/paid for by Miley. She paid for the store to stay open late and even came out afterwards to meet more fans and sign stuff for them before surprising them at a screening she did for her visual album. She’s been doing this for the entire era, but of course it’s not going to be reported on.
