i guess it also depends on what the song will be about. sadly it won't be Aura.  maybe it's a song called "paparazzi phone" and it'll round out the phone trilogy as well as the paparazzi one that way.

Yeah but also remember Beyonce started in this game 15 years prior and basically all of her work as a singles artist was pre streaming. Beyonce been an album artist since self titled.

meanwhile Gaga’s had a few more hits but they’re expressly SINGLES like shallow and die with a smile. Just different artists and it’s not like Beyonce “needs” anything if she’s touring stadiums.

Gaga also started before the streaming era and she has far more hits from the pre streaming era as evidenced by TFM and BTW, beyonce discography is just weak and can't replicate the same.

And the same applies for gaga, she doesn't "need" anything but she needs it less than Beyonce.

Also, if we consider that the streaming era truly started circa 2013, they both released 4 albums since then.

Why cant people just admit that gaga discography aged better?  I mean, she's doing almost +10M daily streams in comparison with less 100 tracks

Come on, it's a natural assumption that there'd be a Gaga bias in a Gaga fan site. I also have this ick whenever someone drags Gaga here. It's not about logic, it's more about support

It's more weird implying Gaga needs Beyonce more (It's implied not explicit. If you don't agree then be careful how you word **** next time) in her own dedicated forum considering that their chart performance is around the same more or less.

I agree people should stop undermining Gaga when it's unnecessary. I also think people should stop undermining other artists who aren't being problematic in general on a fan site dedicated to the artist whose big message is to spread kindness. Especially unprovoked.

The way that Gaga and Beyonce both love and support one another, yet our fan bases are always fighting with each other, is amazing. You’d think both of these pop divas hated each other the way the fans act, it’s so camp and stupid, it all means nothing in the end so I’m just enjoying this ride lol

i never once started an argument on this nonsense by myself, it's always replying to others that always see gaga as the "inferior" pop act, it upsets me, especially because it's not true and we have the numbers to back it up now  

MAYHEM was/is a statement and the fans need to fight back these notions that gaga didn't absolutely re-peak this era and went far above and beyond her contemporary peers, we have 4 world guinness records (1 for 2.5M people attendance ), 2 global smashes with insane cultural impact, sold out stadiums in 2 continents (soon 3) and the most acclaimed Coachella show ever that even gagged long term fans, she became the standard that night  
MAYHEM was also a highly acclaimed album, her highest metacritic score ever and praised pretty much everywhere, this era is almost picture perfect, the charts AND the arts, something very few artists can achieve.

And I have no issue with Beyonce, never did, never will (I hope) but some behavior is infuriating, for some fans even admitting they might be equal is like saying Voldmort, if I entered this topic and saw "well, they are both equal" my reaction wouldn't be the same, but we have already people suggesting people are deluded for even suggesting Gaga could be bigger, on her fansite  And this keeps happening 

And tbh, Rhianna smokes all the girls anyway, she retired like 10 years ago and she's doing more daily streams than Gaga

ah yes, because nothing screams feminism and maturity more than punishing a woman for the actions of random people who are not her.  if anything I actually think Beyoncé benefitted more from Telephone than Gaga in 2010, but that in 2025 it would be the reverse kind of. Their careers are very different and because Beyoncé focused more on music and touring when Gaga focused on film and jazz albums as well, it changed their trajectories and positions within the GP collective mindsets imo.

I always wondered why they didn't interact in the grammys this year, they were really close but only jay z came to gaga, maybe bey was busy elsewhere.
