@Pandacadabra Care to answer the question instead of sad reacting? Because the Starbucks boycotts were about Israel (until some people realized that Starbucks has not expressed support for Israel, then they became about labor organizing while some people still seemed to think they were about Israel), then the McDonald’s one was ALSO about Israel (until people realized that McDonald’s corporate has not expressed support for Israel either and then it became about…who knows lmao). Boycotts have to be based in reality, clear in their demands, and about something, otherwise it’s just people patting themselves on the back for not engaging in consumption of specific brands, extracting no concessions, and trying to shame people on the internet for not cosplaying as activists with them lmao.
