Jesus, what is this. My ears are bleeding. She's insufferable. The only really good thing she put out was Turn off the lights.

Charlie XCX and Poppy had a baby and named it Kim 480P-etras :Lurk:

I do think it’s funny how everyone goes “if she’s gets away from Luke I’ll support” only to then finally get away from him and everyone flips and say the only good work she has is the work with him… like why even pretend?

wheres turn off the light vol 3?

I believe she said something along the lines of her wanting to release it but apparently the label stopped her from doing so and forced her to release Slut Pop Miami instead(?)

Her wasted potential genuinely makes me sad.

I loved Clarity, her neon droplets, and of course Turn Off the Lights. The latter is genuinely one of the best and most cohesive pop albums ever in my opinion. I loved how Vol 2 was placed BEFORE Vol 1 and they managed to tie it well into one album. Truly pop perfection.

I even enjoyed  Feed the Beast. Although its sound was a bit tired by the time it released, it still worked well as its own encapsulation of Kim's various writing styles and sounds. Each FTB song could have fit one of Kim's previous project and not in a bad way, as it fits the theme of "feeding the beast". It felt like Kim was giving her all at that moment (although not fully reaching her writing potential just yet).

Tracks like Claws, Minute, King of Hearts, and Thousand Pieces etc are very solid pop records. Well-written, well-produced (hate the producer but I still can admit the talent), and lots of potential.

But since FTB it's just been a downward spiral.

WTF happened???

EDIT: Just realized half of the FTB tracks I mentioned are Cirkut records. If Kim can work with him exclusively à la Gaga I'd be so happy. I think he has significantly more potential than He Who Must Not Be Name in creating fresh-sounding music.
