Honestly Gaga's success and popularity has always been bigger and come easier outside of America. 

She's just too extra to ever truly have a cemented grip on the American GP.

And like at the end of the day - who the **** cares if its a Top 10 or not. All that should matter is that you enjoy the music.

Also worth pointing out that disease stole from us the radio deal, only the first single of the album is allowed to have a radio deal and disease did so badly that radio dropped it like a hot potato after the deal... In retrospect they should never had pushed disease on radio, it should have remained a promo single just for the fans.

Cause abra didn't have a radio deal because the deal was wasted on disease... If we had the radio deal, abra would go #1 probably, even without physicals or discounts. 

And yes, the top 20 on radio we currently enjoy it's all organic.

And manchild getting #1 like this is her label knowing how to actually capitalize on hype, they released physicals, discounted the song AND have a very strong radio deal.

Thanks. I am a Disease STAN but giving the green light for that song to be Single #1 is crazy. I get that Gaga wanted it apparently, but it is not the right song for what is expected to be a giant album. 

Abra, GOE, VIY as single #1 with a radio deal, TV debut, all the things would've set the tone nicely and allow the song to hold on streaming with radio growing. Instead radio abandoned the song upon arrival only to pick it up months and months after when streams already died in the U.S. Not cool.

Also I’m pretty sure her label promoted her song to users within Spotify's autoplay. I had to block Sabrina because I couldn’t stand listening to Manchild anymore

Yah, it turned out to be one of my favourite pop releases this year. Very unexpected because I’m not even a fan of hers. The music video itself is already iconic and hilarious. Love everything about it

It's the timing... Gaga had Super Bowl stacked top 10 while now the whole top 10 is very low on points.

My issue with Manchild isn't the music and production, it's the lyrical content. The language she uses is so degrading... and I can't help but be repulsed by that.
