I’m almost certain this is one of the hardest categories to break into if you’re not some indie pretentious designer. yeah, I just took a look at past winners and the only moderately known albums that won were Blackstar in 2017, and Ray of Light in 1999. Only the creative director won. This type of awards almost never go to the artist unless they are heavily involved in the art direction.
