The grinding "abra-cadabra-abra-cadabraaa" part give me ARTPOP. The house-sounding verses give me Chromatica. The belting chorus gives me BTW. The beautiful bridge gives me TFM. THIS analysis i could actually get behind ! This record is her sound and her sound only — an amalgamation of all the gagas while pushing mainstream music, lyricism, and artistry (recording, visual, participatory/interactive w/ fan video) forward in 2025. SOTY, ROTY Which is why I looked at people like this when they said, "Abracadabra is just old Gaga" "ok" Maestro, play me your symphony; I will answer to anything. This is beautifully put though LG8 out soon
Lucas 26,247
Imo Abracadabra doesn't fit on any past Gaga album.

Tbh, Gaga is one of few artists that can make songs/hits feel and sound timeless. Like for example some abba songs still feels kinda fresh and I am not even a fan but I can recognise them. I feel like Gagas catalogue will hold up for a LONG time like no other artist before… So yes, she can really create a distinct sound LG8 out soon
Defmix100 6,312
am I the only one who thinks it feels more like Chromatica? At least the production

Xzxcuzme 160
I will never understand what’s so appealing about ARTPOP lol it’s just dated EDM, it sounded dated even on its release day lol
faysalaaa 4,232
Wasnt it behind its time? it was too late to release that kind of album during that time. I also extremely hate EDM / trance/ techno, but ARTPOP is one of my all time favorite albums ever

I hear alot of ARTPOP in todays pop scene Anyways, it’s very subjective what people hear, it what makes art(pop) beautiful LG8 out soon
C1trus 4,341
The intro/post chorus reminds me of ARTPOP, but that's it. I was genuinely shocked when it didn't turn to what I expected based from the Paris snippet. ι'м ρυℓℓιηg үσυя sтяιηgs 1
LadyxGaGa 1,761
no honestly i totally get that it’s such a sequel that it’s just been said over and over but it feels like the album we have all been waiting for and it’s so nice to see that she’s always been it and has always had it and it doesn’t look like she is going away anytime soon
LadyxGaGa 1,761
like every time i hear abra i am so happy the rollout the mv the dance like it summarizes her and brings her into the modern age and she still hits hard
