Why is the albim coming in September :messga:  she's been edging us since last summer and we have a whole summer to wait :ladyhaha:

With the Weeknd massproducing all of his discography on physicals for this summer & rumours that Swift is about to release similar - I wouldn't be surprised if smaller acts like Jade got pushed down the production schedule causing the delays.

she is under RCA/Sony so if her vinyl was delayed it is more likely that Sony decided to press someone else's vinyl, not that it is due to UMG artists.

Unlikely its all produced in house. There's very few in house vinyl pressing factories and limited vinyl pressing factories generally.

Its why there were massive delays in production at the start of the COVID vinyl resurrection. That saw 12 month long waits for smaller acts while Taylor's Folklore and Adele's 30 pushed them down the timetables.

Sony only announced its intention to bring inhouse pressing back in 2017 with a Japan factory - it is operational but its contribution to western market products has so far been limited to special edition releases not mass market releases due to lack of capacity as it only had a singular laithe installed and there has been no confirmation of expansion beyond that.

UMG doesn't have in house production and relies on the independent European factories primarily. Which has repeatedly caused issues for regional artists with less spending power.
