Agreed! Especially under Obama’s presidency it felt like there was more stability and that society was heading in a more tolerant direction.

If Hillary had won the 2016 election I think this would have continued. But obviously we know what happened.

It shows how fanaticism and hatred seeps its way into society and works to undo all the progress made. It’s sad and disappointing but the writing was on the wall the second Trump got in.
