Why HBDUWM Is Best Choice For Single (In My Opinion)

Look yall, any album is track is gonna go top 50 at best, so I don’t know why some of you have deluded yourselves into thinking that single-treatment is that important.

I'm fine with How Bad Do U Want Me being a radio hit or viral whatever happens that the general public likes it. I want music videos for Vanish Into You and Perfect Celebrity, maybe Garden or Eden or Killah.

I just want a global viral TikTok/ social media sensation like Bloody Mary. Abracadabra didn't quite made it as far as the Eastern Hemisphere with it's viral tiktok trend; for sure i hoped it would.

I mean I think you can easily see a coherent development of this kind of song from an artist that has previously released songs like The Cure, Summerboy, Just Dance, Eh Eh, Fashion of his Love, Hair, You & I, Sexxx Dreams, Gypsy, Brooklyn Nights, Grigio Girls, Stupid Love, Plastic Doll, etc. All songs which were written by her unlike some artists you were comparing her with.

I saw more from Abracadabra than I did for Bloody Mary. Even schools in Africa were performing the dance with the song.

I think in general I agree with you, but sometimes Gaga tries to take popular trends, and make it her own. Its all part of her experimenting, so I love it, but I dont think its authentically Gaga.

Vanish Into You deserves a single release at some point  but I still prefer Garden of Eden first during the summer. How Bad is a great song and extremely catchy but Vanish Into You and Garden of Eden are better songs and, regardless of commercial viability, could really be matched with beautiful visuals and concepts and would match the heart of Mayhem to me more

HBDUWM is doing great on radio/shazam but in terms of streams, it’s non existent on Spotify and Apple Music. It’s number 37 on Itunes at the moment as well. It needs to be playlisted more for it to have an impact.
 

Although, Abracadabra was in the top 10 on radio here in Aus, it never cracked the top 10 on the charts. Radio doesn’t have the reach it used to here.

I feel that if How Bad becomes a single, many Swifties and some casuals (especially in the newer generation) will think Gaga is copying Taylor's style. This i think may affect her image, people saying that she is trying so hard to be relevant or match Taylor. I think this is one reason this song wont be chosen as a single by her management/label. 

But, what if Taylor is featured or has a cameo in the MV... that might change things. BUT, Gaga wouldnt want Taylor to be associated with this song or this sound. Taylor didnt make this sound.

So.. VIY wins 

But again... I would like them to take the risk with this song. It is sure to be a hit, especially with a very good music video (not sure about promo...bec Gaga is already touring that time - but that is also promo)

The lies?  I COULDN'T FIND ANY . I still hope and pray we get three more music videos. "How Bad Do U Want Me", "Vanish Into You" and "Garden Of Eden" all have potential to at the very least be fan favorite singles, and maybe cute top10 tracks like Paparazzi or LoveGame 

Does she NEED them? no, but GaGa, gworl, you're rich, drop some coins for the new videos before you retire to have Baby GaGa with Michael, we're not asking for much .
