banjosnap 255
Beyonce PR over the years has been stunning because none of her work has measured up to the hype. Self-titled was ARTPOP level by year end, but lauded as the 2nd coming of jesus. Why? Networking, PR. Nobody beyond her devoted base has given a single damn. 2 1

The main issue is it will lead to a lot of investors pulling funds out of the buy now pay later services to protect themselves and it's got the potential to cause a few to fall like dominos. Because Klarna is not the only one playing fast & loose with the accounts.

Borislshere 52,927
I think people are just getting wise to ticket scams and waiting till closer to the event to purchase leading to slow sales. Anduin 1,032
With only 3 cities (13 shows) the tour has already grossed 168.8 millions, that is insane. Now she is doing 6 shows in the same Stadium venue in London. She's doing more than fine. Edited June 7 by Anduin 2

Beyonce is all about perception and speaks to a LOUD and devoted cult-like following...not indicative of an authentic GLOBAL appeal but im sure people are aware of her as an artist, just her music doesn't translate well overseas as its very attuned to the american audience Even in America...she's not on radio...her music isn't played in clubs...stores...she's not in headlines other than when she's on tour or mad she didnt win her 45th Grammy... 1

I feel like Beyoncé is still being held to a higher standard because she's both black and extremely famous/successful/wealthy/praised and so people have this weird perverse desire to see her fail and stumble. It's a bit sad but it is what it is. Like seriously the amount of work this woman has to put into her art to get just 20% of the success Taylor Swift is surreal. 3

I think this is such a random, sweeping statement to make. Maybe she's not on the radio stations you listen to, played in the clubs you go to, or the stores you go to... But there are definitely people and places that her music resonates with. I'm not even in the US, I'm in the UK and I was in Starbucks once and they were playing a Beyoncé playlist the entire day (not during a tour, just because the people at Starbucks were Beyoncé fans). Also that Grammy comment is ignorant and uninformed of the deeper systemic issues that have plagued the ceremony since its inception. It's not about the amount of awards you get, but what they represent and what they signify. It was completely wild for the person with the most awards to never be considered 'good enough' to win the main ones, and not only that, but to always lose to worse projects too. Adele was so embarrassed when she won over Lemonade she dedicated her entire speech to it.

So it's so hard to figure out when to get tickets or not. I've decided Beyoncé's Act 3 is the last stadium tour I'm doing though, it's really not that enjoyable to go look at an ant perform in an open venue with very bad acoustics for that amount of money. From now on it's Arena or norena.
