I have found myself enjoying Cupid’s Girl and Cuntissimo - they’re catchy, but mostly empty (like, the whole “cunty” expression is really tired. I love the word **** - and also - Marina, we’re almost 40. Maybe I’m just expecting too much from my generation’s chronically online lingo being translated into real life- yes, saying this on a cult fan site, lol). Metallic Stallion stood out - so did Digital Fantasy (gave a bit of Ace of Base and Alejandro in the backing track). I <3 You was decent. Adult Girl was seemingly the most vulnerable and her existential usual. The rest of the album…well, the production is solid and her vocals are great as always…definitely overused the baby voice thing (like Final Boss and Butterfly), Something didn’t captivate me about this record…still a huge fan! I'm obsessed with Everybody Knows I'm Sad. Je Ne Sais Quoi, Hello Kitty and I <3 YOU are everything. Edit: I <3 You should've been the lead single. The sucker that I am for a good album flow, especially with good openers and closers. The first track immediately captured my attention. I really like this album, well done Marina.
