i hope they announce Philippines... or at least Japan. All asian dates must be in 2026 especially when they announced SG as the only Gaga stop this year in asia

This seems somewhat risky given she's banned from China. You technically can go to HK still, but a Chinese law just passed allowing them to seize HK visitors who are a "threat" to China's peace and safety.

your comment made me curious about others who are banned and it turns out Zedd is also banned because he "liked a tweet from South Park's official account" :air:

but also katy perry is banned yet she has 4 dates in china

This doesn't sound legit cos Gaga has not been doing shows of 3 consecutive days since TMB/BTWB I think :trollga:

b'cause the demand in hongkong/macau + china (even the whole greater china) is HUGE. and actually she just finished 4 shows in a row which was in singapore two weeks ago even its not tour dates.

That does not sound fun. HK is an odd place tho. I remember the local police was going after her when she said fake birkins were sold on the same street as her yoga class or something. :smh:  what an embarrassing joke that was

First of all, Chinese government never declared an official ban on any artist. Their approval is elusive and the concerts can get banned last minute even after approval. Just that one of the most fatal things that could get Gaga banned behind the curtain was the public meeting with Dalai Lama.

Coldplay did apparently have some political statements against Chinese government, yet they still got to hold 4 concerts in HK this April. So maybe there's still hope after all. :selena:

That would be during the Grammys week.. no? I think January 2026 is more realistic for her to add Asia dates.

Manifesting her having Japan dates 20,21 and 22 Jan, right after Blackpink tour... having bp as a guest and perform Sour Candy together

China has a vested geopolitical interest atm in being seen to have relaxed/eased up on censorship even if things haven't changed domestically.

Big western acts doing massive shows in China/HK serve as major propaganda

I hope this is the case but the reality is quite the otherwise. :selena:

The local news in HK said that Gaga's team originally approached HK for the Mayhem promo shows first, but the local officials wasn't cooperative enough and left their team hanging. So the shows ended up taking place in Singapore. :sue:
