Because it is pretty prominent on MAYHEM era love show so far. From Coachella performances to TUDUM couple of days ago.

So what do we all think? Do we agree this is the MAYHEM era symbol?

It think that was also a speculation but never confirmed.

The black roses were started by a fan at Coachella who gave her a bouquet of black roses, and then everyone started copying her, including Gaga herself. So they've become a symbol but organically, not necessarily planned out from the beginning. (But who knows, maybe she was planning this and it's a coincidence.)

Coincidentally, I saw people discussing this on twitter the other day in regards to a fan tattoo. Other options given where the inverted A, the lady in red hat and the broken glass/mirror.
