For the first time people were talking about her in a good way again. Also I was shook because that performance is one of her greatest of all time --- I've watched that video so many times. Chills. Dopamine. Hope. Nostalgia. and her voice... just unlike any other. There was desperation in that performance! And proof! She boldly stepped forth in all her glory and shone it across the world. OK but that rebirth was a twist because of the setup!! Trigger warning: Reference to the fall of Gaga circa 2011 For me the first twist was her first downfall, namely the Judas backlash (that has led to the double twist that you mentioned of Judas now being a hit!), anyway her plummeting from her position as first ever Angel-Queen of Pop-Music-Sex-Dance-Hope--Love-Discosticks-Kunst. The way the Paparazzi video literally forsaw her downfall and I still didn't see it coming My guts were twisted in a knot, so to speak. And then when she twisted again with her Sound of Music tribute, ****ing changed my life. Edit 1: I'm still hoping some headline drops that says "WE LOVE HER AGAIN!" It helped the young GP to find appreciation in Gaga's dark/crazy side and probably brought back some confidence to Gaga to go back to a darker sound and image.
