My first impression of Chromatica 5 years ago today

Found in my Snapchat with the 5 years ago, today marker. I wrote:

“When I describe Chromatica, I think of an acid trip on a newly discovered planet with neon gore and ancient relics. It's f*cking amazing. Every single second of this album is a work of art. It's like you're genuinely living on Chromatica as you listen, like a f*cking movie.”

it really is so interesting thinking of how this was the kinda vibe we got before it edged off into the more brutalist and dark territory of the ball. I still lie awake thinking about what the original 2020 Chromatica Ball would have been. I love this album/era so much.
