Disney has adopted a similar approach with its D23 Expo, which last year offered a three-hour marathon presentation in the Honda Center in Anaheim that covered just about every corner of the company’s output. It’s a shock-and-awe strategy, a way to overwhelm consumers into seeing one’s content as inescapable.

But it’s also antithetical to the genuine fan experience, which is built on a foundation of personal connection and authentic community — something, for instance, that Lady Gaga has expertly cultivated for nearly two decades. It’s no wonder that she was Tudum’s biggest draw.

Just ~~watched~~ I mean skimmed through the entire program. What a tedious bore. Everything felt so contrived. What are they thinking ? Really. A show like this don't do justice in any manner to movies and TV series they are trying to promote here. You better shut the f*ck up and play the trailers on YT !

Now for Gaga, this is all another story. What she's doing here is the epitome of being a guest star. Emphasis on STAR ! Because as guest, of Wednesday S02 and Tudum... She just stole the whole show ! And a great opportunity to promote Mayhem again ! Outside of the picture of these two in the coffin, Jenna was kind of eclipsed in the process...

I often read complaints here about the lack of promo for Gaga albums. This is another proof that she deliberately does it her way, according opportunities and her personal motivation. She just loves to catch the wave at the top. Instead of launching an usual boring media hype unworthy of her value.

me all here for the performance but also remembering she's also doing a role for the show. do you think the character is similiar to what the performance was based around? 

also the 'mother monster' not being labeled on the coffin is killing me lol
