Nothing wildly innovative, she hasn't reimagined anything or reinvented any wheels, BUT ā she has a signature sound since album 1 and she's committed to it, this song is catchy as hell, the melodies are actually interesting for a change (especially the prechorus). well done Ava, a solid B+ release and arguably the best song she's made since sweet but psycho.
