FfFfFfFF 58,135
The first national park established in Romania, Retezat National Park, celebrated its 90th anniversary. A series of activities organized by APNR, together with partners, local communities, rangers and Junior Rangers, took place, in which those present reaffirmed their common commitment to protecting this natural heritage of exceptional value. Retezat National Park is a living heritage, a space where nature, people and sustainable values have coexisted for almost a century. From the first conservation initiatives, to its official establishment in 1935, from the first scientific plans to modern educational projects, Retezat has evolved through passion, professionalism and real partnerships. Today, it remains a symbol of the Carpathian wilderness, an outdoor school for future generations and a landmark for Europe in the field of nature conservation.
