TBF he's referring to 2008 so it was likely her label and he just said "Gaga" as shorthand...

he was up and coming in EDM having released his first album, toured with Groove Armada, worked with Kylie on what was a Grammy nominated electronic album so its not really an outrageous claim

I'm sure we can all agree that some of the Fame era (and earlier) demos are a bit rough...

If anything I'd say Gaga's response was a bit OTT lol because its not like her music from that era was entirely self-written and produced anyway
