@PartySick @Morphine Prince i know many Americans (such as yourselfs) dont agree with tarrifs so its not directed at u but... the sheer amount of self sabatoge with these policies is really hard to even fathom a sitting President would self inflict on their own Country. I dont think Trump realizes just how much the US exports to the world. Entertainment, Streaming services, Financial Services, digital platform services and designing services (many goods produces abroad are designed and administered in the US which pays way more than manufacturing). And lets not even dive over how almost all major retailers or fast food chains that exist are American (Walmart, Mcdonalds, Starbucks etc). He views trade only as physical goods, he always excludes services which is what the US excells at

 

Those are all Amerincan exports and he wants to hurt those brands to try and manufacture some shoes, screw some bolts in phones which the US cant even do at a reasonable price anyway. Make it make sense
