The pop legend sat down with The Project’s Georgie Tunny on Thursday, May 22, but instead of her usual charm, viewers got single-word answers and deadpan delivery. Fans genuinely questioned if they were watching a robot.

The conversation turned to online trolls. Referring to the backlash Katy Perry has been getting during her tour, Tunny asked, “Is it fair or are people just a******s?” Mariah answered, “Yeah… basically.”

And when asked how she "copes" with haters, Mariah said, “By not coping is what I do." She added, “I mean, just don’t pay attention to it, you know? And everybody else goes through it, so… whatever.”  x
