My ex couldn’t watch me play because of it (he legit got queasy but has a weak stomach) - I had a blast! I wish we could share PS5 downloaded like we used to be able to on PS3. I’ve been a gamer since I was 5, and Persona 5R made its way to my top 5 games of all time once I played it in 2023. STELLAR. If you’re cool playing older games - Dark Cloud 2 is my favorite game of all time (a JRPG but not turn based, it’s a dungeon crawler) and it’s on the store. Persona 5R is on sale now, how annoying are the turn base battles? and is it like a battle every 5 seconds? for example I'm playing now Mario & Luigi Brothership and I can't stand the battles. You have to study for tests, participate in school, form bonds with all kinds of wacky characters, etc. There’s so many things to level up and such. The fights you can skip (they’re NPCs you have to run into or they run into you in order to start the fight, easily avoidable often) but the fights are cool! Very unique system. I say buy it and give it a good 10-15 hours. Obviously not everyone’s cup of tea, but I bought it for a couple friends who were unsure and they both ended up loving it.
