i know daftpunk isn't a group anymore but i think she'd make really really great stuff with them. I am okay with her expanding well outside AG for the next album. he's great but also so integral to brat's sound that it feels like she needs an assertive break for her next album whenever or whatever it may be

she's been teasing a lou reed inspired album for a couple of years, so I expect something VERY different especially because she's the type of artist that trashes her mainstream eras and past work when starting a new era lol that will be interesting

oh?? i'd be super super down for that. after the bon iver remix that sounded kind of phil collins-like im eager for something very different for her bc i think she has the taste and willingness to try out things and ability to execute that could really deliver

I think Brat was obviously the fully realized version of the sound she's been going for since Vroom Vroom. Now would seem like the perfect time to switch gears, so to speak. In no way should she try to compete with what she's just achieved.

Whatever she does next I pray she scares off the straights again lol. I saw so many randos attend the Brat tour just because they heard it would be fun, as if she’s Kygo smh. I’m so happy for her success but I also miss when she was just for us queers.

Agreed. I think HIFN was the most sonic representation of it but it really thematically and content and obviously commercial peak of this aesthetic. Even Selena Gomez is after it now. Better to keep evolving
