Why refusing deepcuts on the set list?

My point is that in set lists the same hits get sung, and that accentuates that other songs don’t get a chance with the public and that makes the hits selection always so limited, it’s a vicious circle 

they have a big fandom and we want to listen to the songs that rarely get played and they don’t even put 2 or 3 deep deepcuts on the set list.

Some singers have literally said that they WON’T sing deepcuts, so why’s the clear negativity against those lesser known songs when they already have years of career therefore young people don’t follow them, and they are not gonna lose their audience 

Who exactly are you talking about? i've seen taylor, beyoncé, madonna and more in the last 2-3 years and have not had that experience. same with mariah carey, even though she usually only sings her 19 #1s she's been singing deepcuts like Looking In, an entire Butterfly Medley, and quite a few non-singles from TEOM (which is technically the album she's touring even though it's 20 years old lmao).

Thought to be fair I'm more pissed when they sing their biggest hits but pay dust to the current album and they sing only the singles and one or two other songs.

That too  I blame the eras tour for that, the pop girls only seem to be doing greatest hits tours
