All that's happened is LiveNation chose to just do 1 stop on a short promo tour. 1 minute ago, Chouchou said: Maybe the SG government didn’t pay this time — but a private company did. That’s still exclusivity, just under a different name. One city getting the only Asia show still shuts out millions of fans. Call it what it is: a monopoly in disguise. Have you ever stopped to think that all this is is a short promotional tour? Like only 1 US city, Mexico, Rio & Singapore got stops for it. Gaga's already said the plan wasn't to tour *this* year. There are already multiple rumours and insiders establishing a 2026 tour which includes other Asian nations and Latin Am nations. And as for the monopoly, LiveNation owns most venues and is the single biggest touring company in the world. There's no disguise. 5

We've followed Gaga through every era, streamed her music endlessly, celebrated her triumphs, and stood by her messages of kindness, bravery, and inclusion. But today, we feel hurt. And more than that — we feel forgotten. In 2025, it’s been reported that Lady Gaga will hold her only Asian show exclusively in Singapore. Just one country, one city, for an entire continent. And while we understand the logistics, the budgets, the politics behind touring, this kind of regional exclusivity sends a message — intentional or not — that some fans matter more than others. Gaga, you’ve always said music is for everyone. You’ve always championed those who feel unseen, unheard, left out. But when shows are locked behind exclusive deals — where one country gets everything and the rest of Asia gets nothing — that promise begins to fade. This isn’t about blaming Singapore. This isn’t even about blaming you. This is about a system of exclusivity that turns concerts into auctions, where only the highest bidder gets to participate. And as Asian fans, we’re tired of being reduced to streaming numbers and then sidelined when the music finally comes to life on stage. Music is meant to connect. Music is meant to be fair. We hope that artists like you — who have always stood for what’s right — will recognize how these deals hurt fans across borders. We hope you’ll choose to say no to models that divide rather than unite. We’re not asking for the world. We’re just asking to be seen. To be considered. To be included. Because we’re not just Asia. We’re Monsters, too. With love and kindness Fans across Asia 🖤 Well said and I can only imagine how sad this must feel, but I think you're right when you're mentioning the politics and logistics, especially with this US president. I've been waiting since 2014 now to see her and finally got tickets this tour around - holding hope you'll get the chance as well ☺️
lastpopicon 24,148
Yup, this is called a promo tour even on wikipedia. She's promoting the album and her shows for things to come in the future imo, evidenced by the rumors of multiple shows on latin america in 2026, i think Asia will get some love too. The melody that you choose can rescue you

Really? We're talking about Asia — a region with the fans, the venues, and the numbers to back it all up. This isn’t about Gaga skipping places. It’s about how Asia often gets reduced to just one show, in one city, for one country — while the rest of us watch from afar. Gaga’s not the problem. The exclusive touring model in Asia is. Ladle Ghoulash 20,746
Again, given that she’s almost assuredly doing an Asian leg next year, this kind of feels like a non-issue lol We have forgotten our public MANNERS

And when a whole region is reduced to one show, again, it’s fair to speak up. Hope for 2026 doesn’t erase the frustration of 2025 being monopolized all over again. This isn’t negativity. It’s awareness. Came for some drama, not karma 💅

Chouchou 397
@Bronco I totally get that this is “just a short promo run” and Gaga never promised a full tour this year. Remember Taylor’s Eras stop in Singapore last year? Same story: one Southeast-Asian date, everybody else left out. So no, this isn’t new, and that’s why fans are frustrated. As for 2026 rumors—great, we’ll celebrate when it’s confirmed. Right now, in 2025, Asia still looks like a single-city checkbox. And sure, Live Nation is a global monopoly—thanks for proving the point. A system dominated by one promoter makes it even easier for “one-city exclusives” to happen again and again. p/s: we’re not blaming Gaga; we’re calling out a booking model that keeps sidelining millions of Monsters while saying “be patient.” We’ve heard that before. Came for some drama, not karma 💅 1

It’s easy to dismiss this as a “non-issue” when you’re not an Asian fan. But let me paint the reality: When there’s only one exclusive show in all of Asia, fans from countries like Japan, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and more… – have to pay international flights – cover hotel costs – fight for limited tickets – and spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars …just to attend the only show on their entire continent. This isn’t entitlement. It’s exhaustion. So no, it’s not a non-issue. It’s a recurring burden that only Asian fans seem expected to accept without question.
