And really wished they had done a better job mimicking the stage poster/version for the first film (but alas, the looking down the camera at you meme emerged from it hah. Films targeted for men can be mediocre and fly under the radar/ get praised for the bare minimum. Meanwhile female led films apparently have to go above and beyond to get respect. And even when they do, they get hate trained - barbie for example. I dont understand the wicked hate, and I'm so excited for the second movie.
