Follow-up of my previous winter landscapes thread- this year we had a very very late spring (even by mid-May, temperature in some parts of the country fell bellow 0Celsius), so sorry for the delay! :poot: The locations of the images are Apuseni, Rodnei Mountains, Zau de Campie (Mures), Retezat Mountains.

Ok that is actually breathtakingly beautiful and id love to stroll there right now!!!!

Funny enough, I think my Country Canada is very lacking in a lot of things these days but if theres one thing I think we really got as well os absolutely beautiful nature!

Of course the most beautiful areas of all are so far away from anyone and hard to get to :toofunny:

Fun fact: Romania actually shares a similar latitudine as the Great Lakes Region, the most densely populated region of Canada (well, it's actually more northern than Otowa and Toronto, even though it's considered part of South-Eastern Europe )

Parts of Canada are close in latitudine to Istanbul, Turkey.. even though Turkey is seen as a Mediteranean southern country.. goes to show how much of a northern continent Europe is & that Gulf Strems works. :vegas:

Haha yeah I know. I was from Portugal and Toronto and Portugal are not that far off in lattitude yet Portugal is a lot warmer in winter and still slightly warmer in summer

But between masses, jet streams and being in interior the climate is quite different

Southern Canada where most of the population lives is not as far up north as some ppl perceive it to be given our climate and the fact that our northern regions go all way to north pole, ppl dont fathom the sheer distance of how far away that actually is from the past of Canada people live in :ladyhaha:
