girl yall can justify all u want but an artist of gagas caliber, a woman who can pull 2+ million people shouldnt be performing at arenas, the limited demand means only a small amount of  her fans can go see her, and in some cities she has back to back shows which means more chance her fibro might flare up if she over exerts herself

The same amount of fans will be going to the tour  

3 nights in an arena are effectively equal to 1 night in a stadium. The only differences are weather isn't a concern and 70% of the audience won't sit half a mile away from the stage squinting to see the blur moving around to the music with terrible acoustics 'cause stadium concerts suck.

She can take care of herself, she's a big girl. If she says she can do back to back shows then she can.

After going to the Miami Chromatica Ball, I don't ever wanna see this woman in a stadium again tbh  

Literally the only argument that can be made for stadiums is "there are more seats". Well, more shows fix that problem

Looks like the figure is going to shift and change day by day. Whatever it ends up being, Gaga will still be the most attended concert from a woman, so I'm happy with that. And even if it's not a record she holds forever, I'm happy with her holding it for the moment.

I hope so too. So many people turned out just to watch her alone and not as part of a bigger line-up or the halftime of a sporting event tells you what a big draw she is. They've asked much lesser successful artists to do football halftime shows. FIFA's obviously wanting those Superbowl figures because they now say for the first time ever, they're going to do halftime shows (until now, they were an American only thing). Yes, they invite artists to perform at the opening but a lot of football fans won't bother tuning in for that. But they'll definitely be tuning in during halftime. I'm shocked it took them this long to come around to the idea. Gaga would slay in front of European crowds as well.

I think there's more plus points than that. One of the things I like about stadium shows is that it gets the tour done so much quicker. 5 nights at a 15k capacity arena would cover 75k. Or you could do one stadium show for 75k. Copy and paste for every single arena gig and you can cut the overall tour duration in half. That means the artist has more time to rest up physically and preserve their voice (so many artists cancel gigs because their vocal chords went after so many shows). And it means they can get the next album cycle started quicker or whatever other projects they want to work on. Tours are great for money making and clout but if you're doing arenas all over the world, it can take 2+ years to complete, look at the MB. That's a lot of time taken up when there's so much else to be doing. It's fine for when you're starting out and are growing your fanbase but when you've reached 17 years of hit making and fan loyalty, you need to sit at the big kids table where you belong.

Well, again, Gaga knows her limits and is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. She picked arenas 'cause arena concerts are objectively better quality. So getting the tour over with quickly isn't really a concern tbh.

Tbh I think arena shows are objectively better that it feels more intimate that way, BUT something about a stadium show just feels more like an event, like you have to be there, singing at the top of your lungs with a STADIUM full of people. It's better for advertising and like other people already argued it would take less time and in the long run that would give her enough time pursue other artistic endeavors. I do however think that arena shows and stadium shows should be priced accordingly, arenas should definitely be more expensive than a stadium ticket.

I was literally not gonna attend this tour if it was a stadium tour  especially not here in Florida where it storms every single day and anyone reserving a venue here should be aware of that
