I’m a bit exhausted of his music and happened with Katy back in her Teenage Dream / Prism years and even Bruno with all of his hits back to back for years. But I don’t know if some fans started taking it personal back with Divide and Shape of You when he said that artists should listen to their record label and do what they suggest to continue getting hits or something like that.
