He’s already blaming Biden for Q2 There's only so much gaslighting Trump & his republican cronies can do. If this starts to affect people's material reality, they will defect. Democrats can't draw a line between tax breaks for the rich, insurance lobbies, spending proposals etc. to people's everyday lives so they continue to fail (they'd be fired immediately at any equivalent corporate job). Trump was dumb enough to a draw a clear line between his tariff policies, company/product prices, and ultimately people's everyday expenses... funny how the business community turns when it doesn't benefit them, but we have them to thank in part for sounding the alarm on these bad policies. Economy 53,084 Posted May 4, 2025 Share Posted May 4, 2025 That was fast And im so annoyed that Trump supporters are blaming Biden because "theres a lagged effect on policies" Yeah suddenly when its convinient they finally understand that effects and outcomes of economic and political policies come with a time delay generally speaking But theres things sometimes that can have a very rapid impact and tarrifs + that ubcertainty are definitely among them.
