Gagachella was made in less that 2 months

So it appears that gaga and parris started creating coachella AFTER SNL. I saw many people here commenting that it would be impossible fot her to create a new show for the mayhem ball in just 2 months between Singapore and the first official ball date. Not that I expect that, I love the current show, but it is indeed possible.

Anyways, it’s still amazing how they managed to do THAT in so little time with only 1 dress rehearsal

So this interview doesnt give me much hope the Mayhem Ball will be anything different than the shows thus far, making me wonder why Gaga explicitly said she chose theaters for the details in the Mayhem Ball. Really confused about it all

I thought the same thing... And to be honest I can't believe Gaga, who's an A list artist choose to plan her Coachella, RIR and tour in just 2 months. Idk if I believe it

I will be honest 

I can tell this show was planned in two month after the first act and if this is true it's so strange she did it knowing she would have to perform it in for of Coachella and especially the South American, Asian and Europian tour

Honestly its impressive they pulled such a show in 2 months. But working in business similar to entertainment, its not that far-fetched. People think it takes 6 months when in reality usually 2 months is enough. Rehearsals can start as late as 1 month before. Sure the stage construction and permits do take more time, but the actual run through of learning and locking in the show doesn't take as long as people assume. If anything, this could be good because Gaga has 2 months before the tour starts after the last Singapore date. This could mean brand new elements for the tour.

this! but people here will tell you a tour takes 6 months to make…

the JWT and the CBT only started rehearsals a month prior to opening night, so a different show for the tour is pretty much possible

Gaga pulling off something great as always, a true professional 

Why does this always happen tho lol....it's a great show, but imagine if they started compiling ideas and constructing the show even 6 months in advance instead of 2. We hear about others planning these kind of shows/tours for MONTHS/years but Joanne World Tour, The Chromatica Ball, Coachella 2.0, were all "revealed to be put together in 2 months" lol. In retrospect that's really not that much more prep time compared to 2017.

Didn‘t she state somewhere else that she planned and prepared this performance for several months because she didn’t get to do it right before because of the short notice of being Beyoncé’s replacement and shooting ASIB?

Very strange they planned it in 2 months when one of these shows (Brazil) has been rumored/in talks since last summer and another surely in the works for a long time too (Coachella)

I thought she meant that they rehearsed for this during 2 months and only did one proper dress rehearsal. Not that the whole thing was prepared in this timeframe.

They definitely planned Rio way before that, and it seems that Coachella, Mexico and Singapore dates use the same concept from Copacabana, it would make sense that they didn't have to use so much time for those shows, because those are based on the Rio one.

Of course she had ideas and concepts prior to mayhem being released, but it was only after SNL when they started getting into it and creating everything. Even if she knew she was performing coachella and brazil since last year, that doesnt mean she had a show ready. She may have had a concept and ideas, but not the totality of the show.

she rehearsed alejandro and a few other songs the day before the first chromatica ball and she ended up cutting the songs the same day and never performed them.

you are mixing up booking a show with actually creating one. She knew she was playing the show in rio since, at least, september. but she didnt have a show ready by then.
