lol it’s 0 things to do with Telephone 2 or even a hint at something Gaga related AND it’s some of the only visual work she has done prior to cowboy carter that fits in with the country theming

Sure but it also is distinctly not *her work and Beyonce uses almost exclusively archival footage of hers that she owns. If nothing else it says telephone was on her mind in some capacity

A continuation doesn’t necessarily mean she should be on the song. Just in the video. Although having her on the song and in the video would basically certify it as a #1 single I think.
