Vanish Into You grew on me massively, so they are my top two now. Yeah, I was in a similar boat: VIY didn’t immediately click with me, but Killah did. That being said, I absolutely love VIY now We have forgotten our public MANNERS

I really enjoy it, but I think it’s also probably the first major left turn on the album and so me being a bit caught off guard by an ABBA-inspired, 80s new wave ballad was probably why it didn’t immediately click haha. But I agree that the verses are beautiful (the layered harmonies in particular are iconic) We have forgotten our public MANNERS
Anderson123 37,577
Killah is one of the biggest surprises of the album. When I saw that it featured Gesaffelstein I thought it'd be very electronic so when I first listened to it I didn't know what to think. I love when Gaga does music that is very out of the box for her and not surprised fans that only want her to do TFM/BTW/Abracadabra type of songs are not loving it that much, but it's silly to go to the point of calling it "a skip" or "the worst" because it's a bop. Definitely Top 5 for me and you can see she had so much fun making it and performing it so I know she must have a great idea for a music video for it, hope she does it. 1

Gorehound 4,513
It's rly fun and cute, and you can tell Gaga is living in this song, but it doesn't go nearly as hard and dirty as I'd have liked considering it's Gesaffelstein and inspired by the likes of Prince. I find it a little too tame and cheesy. For me the song needs more dirt and grit, (more of that filthy electronic squelch to contrast with the live-sounding industrial drums), and it could've done with a real sense of menace to it to counter the silliness (similar to Teeth e.g. - and while the lyrics are very sexual, they're unconvincing imo because there's isn't really any actual sex appeal to the song. Shame considering sex appeal was what Prince excelled in). This song sound more like a parody of a sex song to me. But whatever it's still a bop Edited 13 hours ago by Gorehound I'm fine, Ta

I rly like the verses in VIY, they've got that old-school 60's psychedelic rock feel and it's rly effective and I kinda wish the whole song followed that vibe. But I do find bits of the chorus to be too shrill and the instrumental to be a bit of an odd and jarring mishmash. But it is ridiculously catchy I gotta admit.
