TMZ: Beyoncé struggles selling tickets ahead of her first show

The thing is, in the US its becoming more and more common for concerts to sell out or almost sell out only a few hours or minutes before the beggining of the show. People are waiting the last moment to buy a ticket to get a cheaper one. It happened for both the Eras tour and Renaissance (wich have become the 2 highest grossing female tour ever)

Yeah, I'm really glad Gaga was wise and humble enough to switch to doing arenas (plus the air conditioning).

I never thought I'd see the day of Beyonce getting scrutiny for not selling out stadiums. Her stans say this happened with the Renaissance tour last time, but I don't remember the media making a big fuss. Like, I always thought the media kind of ignored negative news about her, like for instance, the fake streams from Tidal for her & Ye's albums way back then. I wonder why the media is acting like this now?

I think the issue is the resale tickets on top of that

It just shows people clearly thought there was demand but now not even resellers can't sell their tickets (which I don't sympathise with tbh)

The stadium will just probably look less full in some areas

I still feel like it's odd considering she's Beyonce and that its opening night

Her fans recently saw her during the Renaissance tour and she's also touring a very country album, which her broad audience doesn't really jive with (if you look at CC streams). It's bold how not commercial the album is so I'm not surprised that demand isn't as hot as it was for Renaissance.

Also, let's not forget what's going in the U.S. & WW in regard to the economy. Honestly makes more sense to do arenas & select stadiums right now.

I love to see this - and not because I’m here for them “tearing down female performers” lol but because the dynamic ticket pricing needs to stop and the more headlines around them negatively the better. Beyoncé can’t sell out for that reason, even if indirectly, great. Lady Gaga fans pissed off because of crap presales and dynamic pricing, even better.

She'll do just fine, we really shouldn't be shading her for a couple of thousands tickets unsold imo. She's still Beyonce lol The stadiums will be packed, even if she had to adjust prices.

We can't also forget the times right now are very uncertain, people are more shy about spending money.

in europe it's not possible to buy tickets online on the day of the show like it is in the us, on ticketmaster, from my experience.

the media is making a big fuss because of the eras tour. that completely changed the way concerts are perceived for pop stars, especially B and TS and since the prices for this tour were even higher this time as a consequence of that people are jubilant when she is not selling out as they see it as "karma" for their perception of "greed". just my take.
