Swiftologist uploads 28 minutes video discussing Katy Perry. You might say it's harsh but actually, Swiftologist did a lot of research and spilled. The space trip & even Katy's previous legal battles were discussed. Also, i think if Katy Perry & her team will listen to this, then maybe they can FINALLY decide on the right direction for Katy's next move. (that is if a right move can still save her)

First off, Katy can choke.

But second, I watched another video "recently" that looked into Katy's downfall, only it was from the perspective of comparing her and Gaga's trajectories. The thesis basically was that Gaga was an authentic artist that was marketed as a pop star, while Katy is just a pop star with no substance. The climate of pop culture was such that, as Gaga started to lean into artistry, the public rejected her, while embracing Katy who leaned into commercial pop. So now that pop culture is exemplifying substance, Gaga is thriving while Katy is struggling. 

Swiftologist's video basically comes to the same conclusion on Katy's side - that the public is falling out of love for her because a lack of consistency in her artistry and authenticity. He just goes a step further and illustrates why she's inauthentic. 

I think it's a good video, but if you are already aware of how sh!tty Katy is as a person, then it's a bit redundant. I don't think most people know about the lawsuits though.

Katy is garbage but I despise this guy and the way he masks his misogyny behind being some progressive popculture expert. Swiftologist seems to think his takes are especially insightful when all he does is jump on hot topics for views and echos the same predictable opinions you can find on stan twitter. He devotes so much time and energy into dragging artists like Dua Lipa or Billie Eilish for making boring/predictable music when he is a stan of Tortured Poets and labels anyone who disagrees with him "stupid" for not liking it because they don't have in depth knowledge behind the meaning of every lyric on the album.

Go watch Naomi Cannibal if you wanna see someone who comments on popculture in an interesting way without being an online bully that has bad taste like Swiftologist.
