Well, my favorite band (Suede) is releasing a new album on September, probably right around my NY Mayhem Ball show, and as silly as ever, if my icons are doing good (and both are having great comebacks), the new age/the rest of year will be festive, and successful. Little music voodoo this is! Happy birthday in advance!!!!

Oh that's great! Getting new music from our fave artists is always an exciting experience! I don’t know their work besides Beautiful Ones and Trash, which album do you suggest I listen to first?
Here’s to a festive and successful year! And thank you, you’re the first person to wish me a happy birthday this year :huntyga:

Glad to be first!

I suggest Self-Titled Debut, then Coming Up, then Dog Man Star, followed by Sci-Fi Lullabies and lastly, their latest, Autofiction.

They are pretty important and interesting fire starters of the 90s (kick started Britpop, and then withdrew from it with their majestic masterpiece Dog Man Star). If you are into Bowie, Smiths, Cure etc.. and I know you are... you are in a journey!

I hope you enjoy their music! I literally spent my youth with them and found my personality through their music. I consider Brett as my third parent lol.

Rewatching videos from yesterday and I realized not many people were recording with their phones? I wonder why that is. It’s such a stark contrast with Coachella where it was a giant sea of phones lol.

Because US is all about posing and being seen.

Brazil was CRAVING Gaga. They adore her since the day 1 and they were just enjoying the magic.

Thank you so much! I'll do exactly as you suggested. I’m excited to get to know their discography. From what you said, I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it!

@Sneaky Oliver I HOPE SHE TOUCHES YOUR HAND, ICON

She didn’t but she was so close to me, it’s kinda surreal, she looks a lot tinier and whiter compared to how she looks in the pictures!! I couldn’t get the first row but I was like in the second or third

I stayed in Rio for five days after the show but I couldn’t stop thinking about it, I even rewatched the whole show on youtube on my hotel at some point :bradley:

Also I got the VIP tickets like 3 hours before I got to the beach and I was panicking the whole day because I thought maybe something went wrong with the vip thing… should I go to the vip line? People are already gathering at the beach and if I don’t get my ticket, I will be so far behind in the crowd… it was very nerve wracking

I did a compilation of the videos I took from the show with my friend's cybershot -- so the sound is off sometimes idk why, I guess it's just too old lol there are also videos of the btwb and celebration tour in this channel

I wanted to record some stuff just for memories of being in there jumping and screaming so don't expect the camera to be still for more then 2 seconds lol

Heeeey, guys!
I was spending some time off GGD, but I wanted to share with you how my experience at Gagacabana was - as it happened exactly one week ago and I miss it sooo much!
Aaand because it was my first Gaga concert ever, truly a dream come true!

I got an entrance to the VIP area just a few days before, after joining an internal contest at the company I work for (they got some entrances as they were one of the official sponsors of the event). I was gonna go anyway but I was just sooo happy that I could be a bit closer to her!

And it was sooo awesome!!! All I could think of this whole week was about the concert - I couldn't stop watching videos, looking at pictures, reading comments… and I got goosebumps every single time, especially when seeing those aerial shots of the crowd singing along with her. 🥹

The energy during Born This Way and Vanish Into You (while she held the LGBTQIAPN+ flag) was so special - the feeling of belonging with other monsters was so strong!

And I cried so hard during her speeches and during Shallow in Act 4, OMG! I just rewatched it on TV as well, and I cried all over again as if I was re-living that moment right there!

And the first act, the first 3 songs… it went by so fast because everyone was jumping and screaming so hard AAAAA!

This was truly one of the best and most memorable nights of my entire life. I really wish I could re-live that moment forever. :fatcat:

(and I just wish she added a song specially for the Brazil setlist, as a surprise for us Brazilian monsters... even though we got the new looks as surprises, a new song at the piano would have been awesome!)
