I wasnt talking about you personally tho' just like youre using the generic phrasing of "gringos being scared of us latinos" Im just talking about the latinos/people in there. Im not even a gringo and I still see how wrong this is, no matter where it happened.

because that's how the basic white/born in the global north acts about how we behave, no matter if windows were pushed or car handles were tried, because we are labeled as extra, we scream, and we are savages who live in jungles.

so typically instead of trying to argument stuff out to defend us from prejudice, I rather have a laugh and call it a day cause folks from these places rather eat a whole unseasoned chicken than to exercise critical thought.

Weird, horrible behaviour. She’s a human being. “Fans” like these ought to listen more carefully to what she says in interviews and her songs about fame

Exactly, even though Gaga has spoken publicly many times about feeling objectified and how her fibro was often triggered by objectification, some people insist to act like this. Unacceptable behavior!

“This is not a typical Latino response to famous people”

As a Gay Latino myself…yes it is :laughga:

There’s a reason why LATAM NEVER gets anything. People here cannot contain themselves more often than we would like to admit.

Actually thats not the reason lol

I read somewhere that touring in latin america is very difficult to manage it due to negotiations and permissions and that is not very profitable for international artist to do it

I wonder why so many white people are calling these fans "savages" and "animals" on other social media sites.

logistics and such, cause it's still very expensive to bring so much material and structure, so most times it's only viable if the tour goes through many countries, like the BTWB or now Kylie with the Tension Tour.

I’d emphasize negotiations cause there’s basically only two big conglomerates who organize concerts here, and they act as greedy as they can

Also those big international singers mostly come at the height of their fame cause there’s less risk of flopping

in terms of distance, Mexico City is closer to any California or Texas date than the U.S. northeast, what could increase costs are customs and tariffs which are a hot topic right now but everyday trucks circulate between the 3 countries transporting goods

Weird, the only person actively engaged in casual, racially motivated prejudice on this thread is you. Huh…

I’m sorry if people being critical of the behavior of a handful of Latin American Gaga fans triggered you that bad, but you literally said that people saying that fans shouldn’t mob her car is the same thing as saying all Latin American people are “savages.” That’s an objectively wild leap to make.
