I like some of Katy's old music but it's hard to feel any sympathy when her issues are all self inflicted wounds that could easily have been avoided. The lyrics of the song are a very fitting representation of the downfall of her career and to think she had actually built up a lot of goodwill prior to Womans World only to blow it all.

This is the thing. Everyone was rooting for her and Gaga to deliver us back to the peak of 2010 pop we were all craving. 

People wanted Katy Perry for the first time since Prism ended.

Oof. Regardless of my feelings towards some of her decisions, genuinely crying on stage is a rough situation to be in. Hope she's okay

After the tour she should rebrand a bit as a rom-com actress, and drop the "sexy popstar" persona for a while. She seems to be more in her element when she's doing quirky, silly comedy stuff, than when she's putting up big shows like this. 

The current backlash will not stop, because it became a trend, I just watched normie, straight content creators like Penguinz0 make videos about how bad her performance supposedly is: 

She's very rich and has a young daughter, she doesn't need to put herself through this. Katy sis, finish your tour, cause your actual fans are indeed enjoying it, and then take a little break to be with your family. 

People will eventually forget that they're supposed to dislike her, and she can comeback in 3 or 4 years like nothing happened
