This is messed up. I’m no Katy fan, I actually have my reservations about her, as many of us on here do. However, from what I’ve seen, the production for this tour looks really good, and the concept seems fun. People need to leave her alone, let her tour in peace.

She’s an out of touch millionaire. I will never feel sorry for any of decisions she consciously made herself. All of this is her own doing. Why should anyone feel bad for her? If she wants people to stop tearing her down, she can either make better and smarter choices, or disappear and enjoying her millions living her rich life.

They're literally just quoting people's reactions on social media. 
Yeah the press and the Daily Heil are **** rags. But nothing in this article is original content that they've produced, it's all verbatim reporting of how pop music fans are talking.

Thats sad to know, I did see some of those but I guess I dont use twitter that much and I dont really let others opinions affect mine. I do remember the security guy singing to Beautiful Dirty Rich and Gaga with her legs spread on a metal table or something. And also Gaga in her knees while Bradley sings, its so funny but not funny terrible. I mean that metal monster for Judas/Scheisse looked great. And the pyrotechnics in an enclosed space.. I guess I am in the minority who liked it and didnt mind the campy moments.

But generally people aren’t commenting on supporting an alleged rapist. They are just making comments about her visually or what she says. And even if some are, they combat that with misogynistic and sexist remarks that aren’t doing their opinion any favors. 
 

That’s not surprising tho because these convos are obviously coming from gay men for the most part, and misogyny is a total blind spot for them. It’s their go to when they want to be sassy, funny or viral. But that’s a disservice to any possible accountability and how it crosses over to bullying and hatred.

I haven’t watched clips of Katy’s tour but her stage and the props I’ve seen from photos look pretty cool as well. The videos tend to be the problem with people who aren’t actually there. They just comment cringe because they see 20 secs of a 2 hour show. For performers like Katy and Gaga, who are similar to Madonna (someone who is constantly labeled cringe as of late) in how they structure a show, the possibility of being labeled from a performance is high. Especially with the new gen as they get older. 
 

Taylor had lots of viral cringe vids from the Eras Tour, but she was the peoples princess. It’s selective outrage for when you are out of favor with the public.
