NDP voters were clearly voting strategically to help liberals win. I’m honestly so relieved. I was hoping for a majority but it doesn’t look like it

Kind of annoying how minority race voters, immigrant voters, and low income voters are slowly listing towards the right while the left is being taken over by pearl clutchers  

I'm curious about the reasons these people have but I feel it's just as simple as short sighted reactionary voting.

Only something major (like a US president threatening to annex your country) can help your party pull out a meek victory

Liberals back up to 163. A majority wont happen unfortunately but i think were 100% safe now from Conservatives winning

I remember going to bed at some point before he even officially won feeling just absolutely crushed but still expecting to wake up to her winning the blue wall  jfc

BC is also one of the few Provinces NDP usually performs well Provincially and its the only english Province that has nearly kept up with Quebec in Environmental advancements (like EVs). I never would have imagined BC going conservative

 

Now its truly West vs East. The western Half Conservative and the Eastern Half Liberal. Ontario (Central Canada) is even transitional this year

Anyway, even if a Liberal majority isn't happening, it is quite an incredible turnaround and will be studied. 

It's crazy because everyone was so sure Liberals were going to get WRECKED just a couple of months ago.

As of now, it is a Battleground for the Libs and Cons. 

With Cons leading with just one seat

Cons had more gains tho, so this is Pivotal for BC's next political landscape.

It is shocking but it was because of progressive vote splitting. Some ridings that had been NDP, the votes were so close between NDP and Liberals that it cleared a path for Conservatives to sneak past.
