Im not disrespecting their sovereingty of course they are their own proud Nation but i suspect more than just 12% of the population would support being part of the US. 12% is how low support is for such an idea here Also Canada is a confederation made up of Provinces that can technically leave. It wouldnt be 1 large State joining, ud have complications of all individual Provinces being their own negotiations and maybe just 1 or 2 joining not the entire of Canada in 1 negotiation.
