Gaga would be an incredible Adelaide, hopefully this works out.
I would also love to see her in something completely outside her comfort zone, something without musical interludes or vampy looks.

Her doing an actual musical musical would be good.

Definitely against her doing a movie forced to be a movie. 

And it'd be good to see her belt a broadway standard like I've Never Been in Love Before. 

 

That said. If Gaga does any Musical turned into a movie, id hope it's a Gypsy remake because you just know she'd destroy Everything's Coming Up Roses.

Honestly, I'm not too bothered by her doing musicals, I'm just forever pressed about them not promoting ARUTW 

The only thing that does bother me about her acting career is her reluctance to do 100% original stories.

I hear you but I feel like that's more an issue about Hollywood tbh, they recycle everything and studios don't give budgets for original stories.

Unless she leads a movie by a director like Nolan/Tarantino/Spielberg/Cameron (where the studios actually give money for original projects),

Ok what I'm interested to know is whether or not she's in good hands with Marshall, I'm not familiar with his track record, but isn't he the director behind the The little Mermaid remake? 

Other than Chicago is he received well?

Yeah but that is something that is difficult to know when it will happen, it might take longer than you expect. So I can see why she'd still be booking acting work.

I don't think her and Marshall are a good fit - all of his movies since Chicago have been kind of lacklustre.

Yeah, I'm 100% here for her acting career, maybe even sometimes more than I am for her music career, but I'd like her to finally take on a role that isn't just "Lady Gaga wearing a different hat"
