I feel like if this news is coming out, it’s already a done deal, and this is why the tour was quickly pulled together for this year. We got news of her being “in talks” for Joker when industry people were saying it had been a done deal for months.

I'd prefer it if she did this role on Broadway, but a movie could be interesting. I just hope that she manages to squeeze in some smaller roles, maybe indy movies, something that is challenging acting wise but not Hollywood blockbuster material.

Even if this has a chance of being true, you all have no room to complain and debate online with non-fans if people start seeing her as a typecast actor after this 

I like Gaga acting in anything, but if she can be versatile in music she can do the same in acting, being an actor is literally about getting out of your comfort zone

To be fair, while I understand the "no more musicals" thought process for Gaga's next film, I think this could work for a few reasons:
1) Gaga has never done an adaptation of a musical theatre piece.  She wanted to go into musical theater before pop music, so this could be a dream project for her.
2) She would be AMAZING for Adelaide.
3) If this is filming in 2026, that would explain why the Mayhem Ball became an arena tour this year!

Zenday destroyed her on social medias saying everyone shits in the same toilets  But to be honest I kinda understand Zendaya point

Whatever gets her bills paid, get your money girl . I'm not invested in her acting career, but I think it's great that she takes on new challenges. 

I thought "A Star Is Born" would be a massive flop, and it literally revived her career, so I won't prematurely judge any of her projects anymore .

I just googled it, I love her even more because of that . She 100% had no idea who Zendaya was, she went to the Hot Wings show not knowing a thing about it, she didn't even knew they made the hot sauce themselves . 

I'm sure she either didn't recognize, or did not know, who Zendaya was . I don't think it was intentional, but I chose to believe it was, cause that would be so brat

I was about to say how does she not know but it was 2013 I think the first I heard of Zendaya was Tom Holland's Spiderman
